The Executive Board
President, Sabrina Puglisi is a certified criminal attorney that started practicing law at the Miami Dade Public Defender's office after receiving her law degree from the University of Miami. After several years in private practice, she joined the Southern District of Florida Federal Public Defender's Office where she currently practices. Sabrina is licensed to practice in the State of Florida, District of Colombia and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. In addition to FACDL-Miami, she is currently a fourth year board member of the Dade County Bar, Young Lawyer's Section.
Vice President, Beatriz LLorente received her J.D. degree from St. Thomas University School of Law in 2001. She started her career at the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office in 2001 as a Certified Legal Intern and then became and Assistant Public Defender. She currently has her own firm, Law Offices of Beatriz A. Llorente, P.A. Currently she is serving a term on Florida Bar Juvenile Rules Committee , South Miami Kendall Bar Association, Florida Association of Women Lawyers, Cuban American Bar Association, Junior League of Miami, Zeta Tau Alpha Alumnae Association, Women’s Fund of Miami-Dade, University of Miami Alumni Association, and Dade County Bar Association. She has served for a number of years in the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers Miami Chapter, both a board member and Chapter Representative for the Statewide FACDL
Treasurer, Jude Faccidomo Jude M. Faccidomo graduated from Bard College in New York in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts in Literature and matriculated to St. Thomas University School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctor in 2004. After graduating from law school Jude joined the Miami-Dade Public Defender's Office where he amassed extensive jury trial experience trying cases stemming from DUI to Attempted Murder.
Jude left the Miami-Dade Public Defender's Office in 2008 and accepted his current position as senior associate with the Law Offices of Jeffrey S. Weiner, P.A. where he practices solely criminal defense in both State and Federal court.
Jude is a member of the Dade County Bar Association, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Co-Chair of the Young Lawyers Division of FACDL-Miami, and is one of the Miami representatives to the board of directors of Statewide chapter of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
Jude has been asked to lecture on topics pertaining to criminal law at Miami-Dade Public Defender's Office, Miami-Dade Metropolitan Police Institute as well as St. Thomas University.
Secretary, Madeline Acosta Secretary, Madeline M. Acosta received her J.D. degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2001. She started practicing law as an Assistant Public Defender at the Miami Dade Public Defender’s Office after graduation. She is currently a Senior Supervising Attorney in the felony division.

| Next Board Meeting The next meeting of the Board of Directors is scheduled to take place in August 2010 at 5:45 PM at the Federal Public Defender's Office. All members are invited to attend. The Annual FACDL Statewide meeting is this weekend in Orlando, Florida. Our very own past -president and lifetime member, Brian Tannenbaum will be installed as the FACDL Statewide President.
